It involved individuals walking on the streets while holding placards that read\, \nOn December 25th\, 2022\, Kartavyalife had the privilege of participating in an event organized by “Apni Roti\,” a commendable initiative aimed at providing food to every person in need. During this event\, Karttavyaa had a wonderful opportunity to interact with the little children from underprivileged backgrounds. The experience was profoundly impactful\, allowing our team members to cultivate empathy and reflect on the importance of spreading joy and happiness in the lives of these young ones. \nThe Kartavyalife team wholeheartedly embraced the spirit of Christmas\, assuming the roles of Santa Claus for these delightful children. With hearts filled with warmth and a genuine desire to make a difference\, we all prepared surprises\, gifts\, and activities that would bring smiles to their faces and create lasting memories. \nThe event was meticulously planned\, ensuring that every child felt special and cherished. Our volunteers engaged in various interactive sessions\, including storytelling\, art and craft activities\, games\, and singing carols together. Through these activities\, we aimed to foster a sense of belonging\, encourage creativity\, and provide a nurturing environment where the children could express themselves freely. \nThe joy and excitement radiating from the children were simply contagious. Witnessing their innocent laughter and wide-eyed enthusiasm reminded us of the significance of our work in promoting mental health and well-being. It reinforced our belief that a little act of kindness and compassion can have a profound impact on the lives of others. \nAs a mental health and well-being organization\, we recognize the disconnectedness of physical\, emotional\, and social well-being. This event allowed us to connect with the children and their families\, sharing valuable insights and resources on maintaining a healthy mindset and addressing mental health challenges. \nThe experience left an indelible mark on our team members\, reminding us of the power we hold to bring about positive change. We are deeply grateful to “Apni Roti” for providing us with this platform to serve the community and contribute to a cause that aligns with our values and mission. \n
